The Staff

Chelsea Genser, Production Manager

Chelsea Genser, Production Manager

Chelsea joined Advanced Productions in August of 2015 and has become a Production Manager. She works both in the office and in the field overseeing all of the logistical aspects of each event and is the office go-to for all event and scheduling related questions. In the “off” seasons, Chelsea works on business development and marketing. She has been working in the event/theater business for many years, beginning as a performer when she was young, and ultimately finding her way behind the scenes as sound designer/operator. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Science from Towson University in Electronic Media and Film. Chelsea has both technical as well as administrative/customer service skills, making her qualified to adjust to whatever needs a client may have. In her time away from the office, Chelsea dances with Vaught Contemporary Ballet and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Ethan Cooper, Warehouse Manager

Ethan Cooper, Warehouse Manager

Ethan joined Advanced Productions in the spring of 2015 as a part-time A/V Technician. He was promoted to Warehouse Manager in the spring of 2018, and continues to expand his knowledge with every event. As Warehouse Manager, Ethan works tirelessly to ensure each and every event leaves our warehouse properly packed and in proper working condition. He works just as hard as each show is returned to our shop by checking in and testing every piece of equipment. In his time away from work, Ethan enjoys spending time with his two daughters.

Alex Krozack, Production Lead / Field Technician

Alex Krozack, Production Lead / Field Technician

Alex joined Advanced Productions October 2018 as a part-time technician, then later became as a full-time Production Lead in January 2019. Alex acts as a lead, audio engineer, and field tech. In the summer of 2012, she had graduated from Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts in Phoenix, MD where she studied both studio and live sound. Not long after graduating, she had become the FOH Audio Engineer for Red Eye’s Dock Bar in Grasonville, MD for their seasonal months, and still is today. In her free time, she enjoys trying new food, breweries, and supporting the local music scene.

Tim Brown, Director of Operations

Tim Brown, Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Tim coordinates and produces anywhere from 5 to 20 events per week. He spends much of his time overseeing the daily work of our company both in the office and out in the field. Tim is heavily involved in the production work undertaken by Advanced Productions, collaborating with each client to ensure their event is implemented with care and precision from start to finish. Tim is truly dedicated to making each event personalized and successful. He also oversees the internal infrastructure of the organization, working closely with his managers to plan and apply future business development strategies for Advanced Productions. Tim has an extensive background in event design and management experience including a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management Studies from the University of Maryland. When he is away from the office, Tim enjoys boating, skiing, and spending time with family.

Lisa Brown, Business Manager

Lisa Brown, Business Manager

Lisa has worked as Business Manager for Advanced Productions since 1996. She assists clients with non-technical requirements including accounting, administrative needs, and logistical requests. From primary consultation to post-production feedback, Lisa is the primary point of contact for accounting questions or concerns. Lisa also works closely with business development and the internal structure of the company. Lisa and Chelsea, our Production Manager, work together to administer and coordinate seamless events week after week. Fondly referred to as the “office Mom,” Lisa can tackle any issue with confidence and calm. In her time away from the office Lisa loves to ski, scrapbook, and spend time with her family.

Lisa Greger, Creator of Opportunity

Lisa has been a long-time friend of Advanced Productions and supports our office on a part time basis.  She is an amazing task master supporting our front office operations. Lisa oversees the Human Resources department, provides support to our business development efforts and keeps our team laughing on a regular basis.  She is a fulltime mom to two wonderful daughters, Abbey and Ellie.  In her spare time she enjoys long days on the beach, live music, a good party and spending time with family and friends.

James Garvin, Creative Services Consultant

James Garvin, Creative Services Consultant

Since joining the Advanced Productions team in 2001, Jamie has become the driving force behind our creative services department. With over 20 years of experience in the event industry, Jamie will seamlessly take you from the conceptual and planning stages of your event to the completion and production of your vision. Jamie’s experience and creative expertise comes from working with numerous large companies such as Microsoft, Deliotte, Touche, Forbes Magazine, and the Direct Marketing Association just to name a few. As our Creative Services Consultant Jamie brings a unique perspective to event design. By utilizing all of our resources, James, will ensure your message and brand captivate your audience. Along with extensive experience, Jamie has a degree in Graphic Design from Maryland Institute of Art.

The History

Founded over 30 years ago, Advanced Productions has evolved from it’s roots as a part time Disc Jockey entertainment company into a full fledged, boutique style, Audio-Visual production company. While the company has evolved over the years to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers, we have held close to our core values and principles. While we remain centrally located in the Mid-Atlantic, nestled between Baltimore and Washington, our operational facilities and service area have expanded to include the entire East Coast, and as far West as Dallas, Texas.

Driven largely by our customers’ unique needs, we look forward to another 30 years of growth and expansion as our services assist others in achieving their goals.
